Some great events taking place to help Haiti:

A sweet group of Canadian celebrities are taking over local bakery Bake Sale to raise funds and awareness for Haiti relief efforts on behalf of the international development organization, Plan Canada. Stars will be decorating and selling Bake Sale’s signature cookie, adorned with the Plan Canada logo and tagline, “We Care” for their fans and Bakery regulars. This delectable sugar cookie will be available for purchase until the end of January for $2 with all proceeds to benefit disaster relief in Haiti.

Hairdressers Helping Haiti is a Cut-a-Thon hosted at the Artist Choice Studio over the course of three days, with hairstylist and colourists from salons across the city donating their time in an effort to raise as much money as possible for the Haiti relief effort.  Pricing is as follows :  Haircut Level 1- $30 Level 2- $60Colour Level 1- $40 Level 2- $60Highlights Level 1- $75 Level 2- $150
