Guess what the holiday rush is on! I know... already. I’m starting to get jittery and overwhelmed by all the work I have to do to prepare for the holidays.

I’m at that age now where it’s no longer acceptable for me to sit back and relax, I have to start pulling my weight as well in regard to the holiday cooking. I have never hosted any holiday parties but this year I am doing a couple for family and friends.

I am sure you can empathize with me and this growing sense of tension. BUT before we completely delve into the world of Holiday-fication (yes I made up that word) we really need to just take a little time for ourselves. Don’t you agree?

I recently did this and it made a world of a difference. Some of my girlfriends and I just went to Ten spot on Queen Street west for pedicures.

I had never been before and I was pleasantly surprised at how neat and modern the place was. It actually looks like a little restaurant! It can also serve as a unique venue for a holiday party…I’ve been considering it.

You all probably have a few things that you’ve been meaning to do but keep on putting it off. Now is the time to do it before the full holiday wave hits you!

I had been meaning to go see Body Worlds at The Ontario Science Centre. First of all when was the last time you went to The Science Centre? I had forgotten how cool it really is. Anyway this Body World exhibit was absolutely eye opening. I was walking around with my mouth gaped open throughout the entire thing. After leaving I am now so much more conscious of what my muscles, bones etc are doing under there. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.

So I just thought I would share some of the ways that I’ve been able to just relax for a bit before the onslaught of the holidays. Up next for me White Oaks Resort on Niagara on the lake. What are you trying to get done before the holidays??

Much Love,

Nneka
