This has become my anthem.  It seems that no matter how much I try to prepare our loyal viewers for the weather to come, somehow I always forget to take the advice myself.

If it’s raining…guess who forgot her umbrella?  If it’s snowing, guess who doesn’t have gloves?  And if it’s a beautiful day, guess who is wearing six layers and a toque? Yup, me.

It’s actually starting to worry me a bit.  I know I’m getting older and my memory isn’t what it used to be, but how can I have access to the best Weather technology in the country, have the most accurate radar and satellite imagery at my fingertips and STILL end up the one left out in the cold?  Pardon the weather pun….but I couldn’t resist.

The worst part is, I have a whole bunch of useless facts stored in my head.   Ask me to remember John Stamos’ character Uncle Jesse’s full name from the 80’s sitcom Full House before he became Jesse Katsopolis… and I’m your gal!  (the answer is Jesse Cochran in case you were wondering)

Why do I remember this?  Not sure.  It’s not likely to show up in dinner conversation or during a test of some sort.  But maybe it’s a sign that I have to start taking some ginkgo biloba!

The lesson folks.  Do as I say, not as I do.  Here’s hoping some of you can relate!
